He was too embarrassed to ask DB and SMG to do the moaning, so he wrangled some chick into faking them with them. I think Joss just wanted to be Angel for a moment, but that could be me projecting. *g*
Noooo! Joyce love! I always put that down to Buffy being trapped in the sewers and then Angel's bed so Joyce couldn't be there to throw confetti. Of course she wasn't at the surprise party, but that would have spoiled the big reveal in "Becoming" with the whole "Have you tried not being a Slayer?" Poor Joyce, keeping in the dark about the Slayer thing really made her come off as an invisible, Charlie Brown "wah-wah-wah" kind of an adult...
