So I read the original, and I read this, and I love them both. The meta was an interesting addition, and I was a little afraid it would make a really hot story into a boring one, but it completely didn't. Actually I think the meta made the porn hotter. *bewilderment* How did you do that? Jeez.

What I liked about the porn: the fact that, while Jim thinks Spock's lady-parts are sexy, it's perfectly clear all the way through that what Jim really finds sexy is Spock just being Spock. (Also, Spock saying "Fascinating" when he comes? Guh.) And Jim's motivation -- part wanting to show off really, really badly, and part just wanting to make Spock feel really, really good. And how, in the first part, Jim got turned on thinking about their switching places. It's funny -- because Jim is very open-minded in this fic (hardly an activist, but definitely wanting good things for everybody), and his open-mindedness and his sheer filthiness are inextricably linked.

Jim is a very, very dirty boy. But he's also a sweet boy, and a smart one, and it seems like he shouldn't be able to be all those things at once but he is, he is! Perfection.
