CAPTIVE PRINCE YOU GUYS OMG my heads are sweaty.
ETA: Everything is torture. Every chapter just makes me want eleventy billion more. I seriously had to read each line three times because it's just. That. Good.

altri_uccelli's journal, because it is awesome there and I'm sure she'll do a post, or discuss it here, but now I need to ponder over it for the rest of my sleepings.
In other news, one of the best ways to get mindless crack romance is not reading romance novels; they will offend you with grossness and sexism and bad writing. The best way to get original mindless crack romance is most likely J2 fic, which I fall for randomly now and again.
But may I just say I have just read 3 J2 fics over the last four nights, each about 50K in lenght, and each one of them had Jensen gifting Jared with either a kitten or small puppy. Wut. I don't understand this world, but I love it.

I definitely believe that Laurent is a mess, but isn't playing Damen. In fact, I found this a really hopeful chapter, because Laurent actually listens to him, if ungraciously. My god, that boy has a mean mouth!
