It's funny to see Angel's pain through Faith's eyes. Not funny ha-ha, of course. You've really managed to nail the complicated nature of Angel's feelings for Buffy in this story and done it in such a clever and understated way- all seen through the jaded (yet yearning) eyes of Faith- ever cynical, ever hard-edged, and yet so utterly compelling in this piece.
Not to mention the way she manages to (almost effortlessly) pick at all Angel's scabs. Too clever for her own good. Still so much to learn.
This should be required reading for all Faith fans.
