Well, I wasn't actually being rhetorical. I'm not watching that closely, so I want to know if there are actually explanations for some of the details. And I really want to know what the hell they want us to think about Derek. I doubt they ask that question in interviews, but I would even be interested in what other viewers think, because my impressions of the character are so incoherent I can't even decide what they're going for. He seems like he's all over the place, and I would be interested if anyone was able to bring a coherent reading to it. I've read and watched plenty of serial fiction that actually doesn't contradict himself, and I understand if you're saying that Teen Wolf isn't such an animal, but I'm looking around at these people who seem to actually think it's a decent show, and I'm wondering what the hell they're talking about.
