Teen Wolf ep 3x10
I don't get this show. I have questions! You, like Radio Shack, have answers.
1) Stiles said the Hale fire was 10 years ago. Peter said he hadn't seen Cora in 6 years. When was it, really?
2) How did Cora survive? How did she not know that Derek and Laura survived?
3) Are they going for Stiles/Cora? I'm pretty happy about that, I must say.
4) Are we really just forgetting about the fact that Peter killed Laura? I mean, except for occasionally mentioning it now and then, as if it's just something really annoying and not something with consequences?
5) So Paige was before Kate, is this correct? Are they ever actually gonna talk about Derek/Kate?
6) Stiles mentioned Kate, actually! When he said that Derek had dated two crazy ladies! But when did Stiles find out about Derek/Kate? I don't remember that being public knowledge, or is it just Stiles who has that tidbit? Don't remember.
7) Speaking of Stiles/Cora, what are they even trying to do with Allison/Isaac?
8) What even is Allison's hair?
9) Why is Chris Argent on the side of good? I mean, I know he was trying to track down the bad guys and Allison thought he was the bad guy and then he wasn't, but I don't get why he's suddenly palling around with Isaac now. I don't know; it just seems kind of unexplained. There was the bit about how Ducaulion bit his uncle, but that also seemed completely unconnected?
10) Speaking of unconnected! All the wolves went crazy at the motel because Finstock had wolfsbane in his whistle . . . so it was just a coincidence that so many people had committed suicide at the same motel? I don't get this. Explain.
11) How do you pronounce Kali?
12) Which twin is Aiden and which is Ethan?
13) Are they ever going to deal with the twins' identity issues? Because one of them having another body growing out of them in that motel ep seemed to suggest they might actually deal with the problematic nature of the twins being one wolf, but I think they'll probably just drop it.
14) Speaking of which, are the twins played by the same guy? I would usually just assume they were played by twins, except The Social Network makes me always doubt twins now.
15) How is it okay that with our regular new characters, we've added like four white guys and one mixed-race female?
16) How is it okay that of the three new character from last season, we've killed off the girl and the African American dude, and kept the white guy?
17) Is it just me or are Isaac and Stiles better written than almost everyone else? And is this better acting, or does it have to do with the idea that the writers are better at funny sidekicks than main characters? Or what?
18) What are our feelings toward Derek supposed to be? Really? Are we supposed to like him? Feel sorry for him? Be intrigued by his mystique? I'm really curious as to what they're going for, here.
19) Does it bother anyone else that Lydia is "the wailing woman"? Because I'm totally cool with her having supernatural abilities, and with her being something that hasn't been explained yet. But the banshee has these cultural connotations that are totally not cool with me, especially considering how this show fails vis-a-vis the ladies.
20) Where is Lydia, anyway? What happened after Jennifer tied her up? Does the show not care? Really? Because Lydia is one of the few people I care about here, come on.
21) Why did Ducaulion's glasses crack when he said he was super evil? Was that really just for comedic value? So confused as to the point of this character.
22) Why is a show so focussed on Celtic myth making this weird jump into Norse myth, and when are we gonna get some non-western myth up in here? Do non-western cultures even exist in this world?
23) Is anyone else sort of happy Sheriff Stalinski and Melissa McCall are prisoners together? ...I'm not the only one who ships them.
24) Speaking of shipping, what were our feelings toward Jennifer supposed to be, really? I still can't figure out whether we were supposed to care about Jennifer/Derek at all, or whether we're supposed to care now. I mean, her backstory is sort of interesting, but I'm a lot more interested in Jennifer/Kali right now than anything else. Anyone? Jennifer/Kali?
25) Is Stiles going to become an emissary?
26) Does anyone else just think of DS9 whenever they say "emissary"?
27) Speaking of emissaries, where's Deaton?
28) And seriously, how, in what universe, is killing Boyd, the only non-magical-Black-man in this fictional universe, okay?
29) And where's Miss Morrel? (I just looked up that actress and omg, she's Kendra! I didn't recognize her at all!)
30) And I'm really confused about the girl who saves Isaac in the very first episode. Did we ever find out who she is? Ducaulion kills her, right? Are we ever going to find out?
31) Why am I watching this show? Why why why?
32) How is Stiles so lovely and perfect and all the things I want, when this character and this actor are none of the things I'm usually interested in? How how how? He is so perfect I could just watch him all day, and it's not my usual thing; I swear it isn't.

At first I thought it was because he was worried about betas being near him, because Ducaulion wanted him to kill his betas, but it never really got explained? And makes Derek look like even more of a douche? And Derek totally is a douche, but seriously, do they want us to like him at all?

I haven't watched much of season three yet, but I knew they killed off Erica. Not sure I really want to watch now that they killed of Boyd. I'm kind of pissed, to be quite honest.
Also I don't give a fuck about any of the new characters so far, and since I'd be perfectly happy to see the group dynamics of the Beacon Hills bunch (ie Scott's "pack" plus Derek plus Isaac plus parents and also Danny), I feel like they're throwing everything in there and it's too much.

7. I don’t get the Allison/Isaac. She’s broken up with scott cuz of the whole werewolf thing. And yet Isaac is now okay cuz they’ve forged a very convenient connection?
8. I don’t get what’s with her hair either but maybe she just felt up for a change. Stiles changed his hair too after all(and it looks great!)
9. considering that the crazy people in his family are no longer in charge maybe it does make sense that chris is on the side of good. He’s kinda been the most sane adult argent yet. I think he’s kinda just putting up with Isaac. But if Allison/Isaac becomes a thing he better not just accept it
10. yeah that was a really weird connection but I chock it up to jennifer’s interference. Maybe she planned it so that they’d end up there so the planned suicides wouldn’t seem suspicions

12: aiden is the straight twin and ethan is the gay twin
13. I’m not completely sure but so far my headcannon is that they were at one point conjoined twins and Deucalion taught them how to separate. And considering how they combine and how ethan tried to kill himself at the motel I’m guessing that aiden get more control which must feel terrible for ethan, being stuck in a body that you can’t really control.

17. I think stiles and Isaac have just been the ones that have had their background explained the most since the show has a habit of being a vague about characters’ pasts as possible
19, I’m cool with her being a banshee since there was no way she could end up being a werewolf. But it does make me wonder if being impervious to the bite and kanima venom is because she’s a banshee or something specific to her
20. after Jennifer tied her up? the sheriff found her and stopped Jennifer from killing her then the others showed and Jennifer to the sheriff and ran. She showed up later at derek’s loft where Jennifer made her scream to lure Derek back
21. I’m guessing Deucalion’s glasses cracked because they wanted to draw attention to his wolf eyes without telling us right there that he can still see sometimes
22. I think they just decided to pick one to start with and chose the celtic werewolf myth as their basis. The references into Nordic mythology may have just been a Jennifer thing or maybe she only brought it up/knows it because of her emissary training. In 3b there’s gonna be kitsune which are Japanese mythology (there’s also a kind of kitsune in Korean myth but I think they’re going with the Japanese one)
23. I definitely am on the ship for Melissa/sheriff
24. Jennifer is/was evil and I don’t ship her with Derek. To a degree maybe she was trying to make it real but I think she was just manipulating him. For me jennofer/kali was more probable
25. I REALLY hope stiles will become an emissary or at the very least the argents will teach him how to defend himself
27. it seems like emissaries are more for support and information than direct confrontation and there’s the possibility that Deaton’s still recovering from when he was kidnapped or maybe he’s taking care of his injured sister.
28. killing boyd was a horrible idea. For one him and stiles never got to become friends, for two they just started to reveal his past, for three he was an awesome character and it wasn’t fair
29. morrel was injured by Deucalion so she’s probably recovering
30. I think the girl who saved Isaac was another emissary (possibly one without a pack) that morrel called in to help (and maybe even become scott’s emissary) since morrel was supposed to be helping the alphas

33. I think Derek kicked Isaac out not simply because he was worried about betas being near him but more to the effect of forcing him to become scott’s “pack” so Deucalion couldn’t make him kill him. If he’s not a part of derek’s pack then Derek can’t kill him to gain his power.
Bonus: I don’t completely get why kali had to kill Jennifer originally since it’s clear that the alpha pack still needed an emissary since they got morrel later. Though I suppose Jennifer wouldn’t have been all that keen on staying with kali after watching her kill the rest of their pack
