Like a lot of other people I'm absolutely lost for words.

I love the idea of exploring how Heaven and Hell, and what seemed to be final separations, have changed Our Heroes. (I don't actually think Buffy would ever not love Angel at all, no matter what nightmare scenario she was in, but you wouldn't expect me to, would you?). And I love the way you've walked us though the fiery furnace of their separate emotions.

And yes, the words on the page, the shape of them breathing in and breathing out, tapering and growing, dying and being reborn. Good stuff.

Other people have said that the Upanishad sentiment was a perfect title, and I so agree. Neither of them are human, and both of them have souls/spirits that need describing in other ways than we normally think. Both of them have had experiences that make those different spirits separate from the flesh that houses them.

And what can I say about the writing? The prose you've used is very, very rich, very thickly textured, in a very writerly sort of way, if you know what I mean. It's pretty well an exhibition piece for that.

Sorry, my dear, I pretty well suck at giving feedback - 'Me like story' is usually as good as it gets, and I'm out of words for this tale. It was quite a punctuation mark to the event.
