And grin at this. Keep forgetting he is, in the end, a teen boy.
Such an intriguing last line. It was always a jolt to see the weaving in of the various characters in the various different takes on the ending, all the different possible directions each could go in. Seems to me the different sections each took a different perspective -- the BtVS ending, the AtS ending, the ship ending, the non-ship ending, the everything ending. Interesting take on things.
