I made a post last year asking for crit on my stories, but I think my views have shifted somewhat since then. Now I'm more likely to ask for crit from specific people, because I think they're talented writers and I respect their opinions. I participated in peasant_'s Concritathon, and got some very valuable feedback from some great writers (including you and Stulti). But, IMO, not everyone who left crit was really qualified to do so. Every reader has an opinion--that's a given--but I'm not going to give everyone's opinion the same weight. That's one of the reasons I didn't do the anonymous crit meme, because how can I assign value to any of those comments if I don't know who they're from?
