I think this is an excellent essay which does an excellent job communicating your thoughts about writing, and about constructive criticism. I like how, in explaining how you leave concrit, you explain the purposes of that concrit and specifically how your execution fulfills your goals.

However, I think this post could have used more colons, and perhaps parallel construction. Because colons are cool.
