Yeah, the mistakes were on purpose. They made me itch, because it's not immediately obvious they're on purpose, but I didn't want to say, "Lookee here, the Fist is pretensious and kinda stupid!" I don't know if what I did do worked.

Buffy isn't going to show up in this 'verse any more than she already has (I have some ideas re: Angel and Spike talking about her). I love Buffy; she's my second favorite character, but I agree, she would ruin the dynamic of what I'm trying to do. Not the least because this is so intensely centered on LA, cut off from communicating elsewhere. If I ever get around to them, there might be stories that deal with the rest of the world. There will be more about Illyria, too.
