Hi- this gets better with rereading, more complex and cagy; Angel seems, here, willing to use what he learned as Angelus, in ways which he avoids, most of the time, until AtS s5.

And there's nothing else to be done with an enemy too stupid to realize he's been bettered as a leader and protector.
