Some of it doesn't quite work for me -- like Dru's blood fizzing like champagne -- but some of the detail/imagery is amazing -- the comparison to Irish peat bogs, and the Eucharist imagery, and the nuanced difference between a Gypsy Seer and Dru. Really interesting look at the normalcy of Kate, and also about the appeal of vermin over blood bank blood.
