Wow. Thanks for your kind words, but most of all I'm flattered by your insight. The reason I wrote this fic was because I thought Wesley's offering was such an act of love, and yet there was such bittersweetness there. I tried to use the emotions of the others' to build to that one moment and try to use it to say why love can be both so beautiful and so painful. Thanks for thinking I got there in some small degree.
