That was amazing!! Such a lovely, sharply sublime exploration of Angel via his most dangerous and insistent of urges, to love and to feed. Love the way the two are conflated and the way that you take it from Liam to Angelus to Angel.

Absolutly beautiful. I can't even pick a favorite line. Your style is terribly poetic and works amazingly. My favorite sections are Darla and Drusilla, with Buffy and Wesley coming a very close second. I thought that Kate's complete normalcy was a fabulous contrast to the exotic of the other women he has bitten. Wesley plays on that same theme, but because he is a male it sets him slightly apart. The rats, well, they were just awesome. I can almost taste the self-flagellation there.
