Hello! Non-LJer here via BBF. Just had to squee at you for a moment. This fic is breathtaking - which I mean literally, because I keep finding myself taking these funny little gasps. It is so good. I'm not that much a B/A shipper as so much fic set outside of canon seems to dive straight for schmoop, but this is funny, sweet, sexy, and just lovely. It's the same canon Buffy and Angel, only it's not at all the same. I too just read all 13 chapters in a sitting - and I'm supposed to be doing a million other things tonight, and could not get up from the computer! - and just had to compliment you. The characters are lovely, the tight focus on the two of them is wonderful, yet we have glimpses of the rest of the Buffyverse characters. I can't wait to see where this goes! The backstory is impressively complicated - all the tiny machinations of how Angel's absence changed things. Just wonderful! :)
