...re: Standby. I don't know what to do. It's not one of the best thing I've ever written, but it's one of my favorite things by me I've read. When I was rereading it I got all . . . breath-catchy because I just like it so much.

The thing is right now it's not about anything--it's just H/D becoming friends. I feel like once I start to address Draco's disability, it will become about that. And while I think that's important to address, I don't want the fic to be about that. I just want this thing to have happened to Draco and for that to be a part of him. But then I get stuck on what the fic *is* about--it has no plot.

If you have time, I'd be interested in what you think. But I feel like I'm always flailing at you, so no sweat if you're busy!

Rhett goes to Tara--I don't have many scenes of everyone liking him; I didn't get very far. I think I have one though.
