I joined myspace because, you know, musician. And that seems to be what it's for. I couldn't figure it out at ALL but that's because I was seeing myspace in LJ terms and it's the exact opposite of LJ: Myspace is to hook people up in RL, whereas LJ is to hook people up online. Thus, myspace, while having a blogging tool, is mostly used for event invitations (RL events). Once you accept the paradigm, it makes sense. That said, I hate myspace because it's not LJ!!!!!

I use a free photoshop knock off you can download called the Gimp. You can google it. I like it and free!

Starbucks is everywhere and since I don't drink coffee mostly a pain in the ass when people want to meet/go there. Their tea is crap, their chai lattes are crap. They sell iced tea but don't have lemon. Their sandwiches are pretty good but not worth a special trip at all. So Starbucks? Whatever.
