It was bad, but to me, it didn't mess with the characters. Despite the true suck of the A plot, the B plot said important and true things about where the season overall was headed and who the characters were. "Provider" was just like crap dumped from nowhere, into Angel and into Cordy and into my show.

IMHO. I might be a little bitter.
