I got "what are you?" or "where are you from" all the time when I lived in the South. I always said "Americn" and "New York", but what they really wanted to know was my religion. I played with them til they either got bored or asked me flat out.

I could pass for Italian, possibly Greek. But nose, hair, skin, I am pretty much a poster girl for Heeb.
