Wow, this is lovely. I like the, hm, dense wistfulness of everything? It feels as though it should be drizzling rain through this.

Even if it meant he had that much more to hide, she saw it all and it didn’t phase her.

That ... really works as a one-sentence detective story in itself.

Oh, and on the subject of Brit-nitpicks: apart from a word or two, nothing really stuck out that I didn't think might just be Holmes being odd. And I'm inordinantly pleased to discover that the bbc is putting on modern-day Sherlock with Martin Freeman as Watson! Not that I have time to watch it atm, but still!
