Yeah, especially about B/S, it seems to me that Spike is really attracted to the dark in Buffy, and thinks she could give in to it. Buffy has that darkness, but it's not what she's about. Only when Spike gets a soul does he begin to really see that, and I think it leaves him floudering, lost, kinda like he doesn't understand it--did once, and wants to, but can't.
