I loved this story. You did a great job of capturing the voices of the characters, especially Spike. The words you chose are true to a lot of the different facets of the character.

For me this story showed a lot of what I like about the B/A/S grouping (and each character withing that group). Each one of them needs the other one in ways that are not necessarily nice, or clear but very real to them. They all rotate around each other, and no matter how they try to pair off, the third one is hovering somewhere near by.
