There isn't really much I can do in the face of something like this except fling up my hands with joy whenever you deliver lines such as, "Me-Tarzan, you-inconsequential," or, "I not so secretly long for your lumber," or, "You left me at least once a year," (HA!) or, "Holy lack of hair products!" or, "Scourge of Anything Interesting," and the whole bit at the end of four that explains what they know and don't know and have no need of.
I think you're right -- it could do with tightening, and I think you should, after you've let it age for a bit, but meanwhile your humour and razorish insights are more than satisfying.
