One really interesting thing I think the Colbert Report did with the Tek Jensen cartoon was that in the first one, it was played like what would actually happen on a spaceship. Tek was landing it and it took forever and wasn't smooth like you see on space shows.

I think that a lot of it is necessary in order to make it interesting.
