At the time - what? Late 80's? I was in my late teens, and I remember I didn't get CBS living in the sticks, so I bought books, and calendars and the VHS release of the pilot and some select episodes. It fulfilled a need in me at the time, but unfortunately, I have, in the time since, grown somewhat jaded by things, and yeah, I'm afraid of finding it cheesy myself. But I'd be in it for the nostalgia anyway, so it's all good.
