Thank you very much for saying that. It's exactly what I was trying to do. I love a point of view that lets you know it's not the only way to see things, and it's hard to do that without going omnicient or jumping into other POVs. The latter two are viable options if you write carefully, but to me part of the interest of a story, for me, is what's not written. Which is why I love fanfic. I love being in the middle of reading something and being handed things to figure out, imagine, block, and dialogue for myself, thoughts to think for all the other characters, that kind of thing. So with this I wanted to keep strictly in Angel's eyes, but let you know that there're things going on he doesn't see, and make you imagine those things for yourself.
I'm sorry to ramble on but it deals with some concepts I'm into right now (obviously!) Thanks so much for picking that out and commenting on it.
