I had the basic premise for this story, I mean besides the puppy part, worked out before you gave the prompt (which I would never write!) When I thought about how to write Angel buying a puppy without it being bloody awful, I realized it worked with this idea.
I have no ideas about Xander floating around though. Except for the X/A I'm still trying to write and the one where Xander marries Illyria and they have blue haired babies. *cough*
