I'm glad you feel the same way. A lot of people are saying the epilogue is twee; it did made me a little sick, but not from the saccharine. I can't figure out whether JKR did it on purpose or not. There are many parts in all of HP that make me uncomfortable, almost too many and too glaringly for me to believe JKR is oblivious to what she's doing.
