thank you so much for this. The closest I could formulate a thought seconds after finishing it was "irritating" but you say it in far more depth. This epilogue is not a happy ending! It feels so not like a happy ending that I am amazed people think it is.

Most of everything I am fascinated that apparently no one has learnt any lessons at all from their experiences. It would have made me feel so satisfied if one of his children had said, "i want to be in Slytherin" because apart from Fred’s compromise death the most chilling part to me was when the whole S house walked out of the battle. What all of them are evil? All of these supposedly clever brainy children are cowards? This annoyed me so much.
