This...this should've been the epilogue. It would make a better ending, in any case. Open endings are the best kind, if you couldn't do an Austen-esque one. I think what irritated me most about the epilogue was that it focused too much on the "big three" that the rest of the characters (Luna being the one I'm most worried about) were shoved to the background.

I think I'll print this out and paste it on the back of my copy of DH. :D
