I wouldn't think that the conflicts of Harry's children would be the exact same ones as Harry's, they'll just be new variations.

I agree, entirely. History repeats and moves forward at the same time; it's paradoxical that way. And the epilogue does hold the hope that progress HAS been made, even if issues like inter-House relations haven't come so far as we might have hoped.

I rather think that Snape's strongest traits were love and loyalty--primary qualities of Hufflepuff.
