Well, the fics are really overwhelming, not just because they're good. They're also very different, and uh, well, I guess intense. I find it easier a lot of times to say, "me too!" than say, "and here is what I think" so I feel ya there.
But yeah, they just . . . those fics ROCK ME. I'm not . . . I have no kink, nor no squick, for the kinks her!Sherlock has, what with the blood fetish, possessiveness, and wanting to eat Watson (. . . although who doesn't want to eat BBC!John is sort of beyond me). It's her!Sherlock's feelings about it and fears, and John's response to them that gets me. IT GETS ME. Anyway, glad someone here has read those. Good stuff!
I love Arrows of the Queen. I'm also glad someone on my flist has read Arrows of the Queen! I'm such a huge Talia and Dirk shipper! Even though Dirk is really annoying with the moping about and the, "you loved Kris" stuff. When I thought about them again over the past five years, I realized Kris is really more interesting, being so light-hearted and gay and understanding and friendly and also sort of self-obsessed, but I think I'll never get over Dirk. OMG Kris/Dirk. What would it be like? Especially if it was Dirk, to Kris, all like, "SHOW ME WHAT YOU DID WITH HER IN THE SEX CABIN." And Kris is like, "Sex cabin?" And Dirk is like, "YES THE SEX CABIN." And Kris is like, "Oh, you mean when her empathy gift thing went all crazy and we had to have wild mad emotional monkey sex to stop it, and then we were snowed in for like a month so we had to keep having sex because there was nothing else to do? That sex cabin?" And Dirk is like, "*glares*" and Kris is like, "Okay, I'll do to you what she did to me."
