In my head, there is a point where the people in this universe do have a relationship, but there are so many issues involved, I'm not sure I'll ever get around to tackling it. I mean, I *want* to make the point that two heterosexual people can just be friends, good friends and live together at that, but that between almost *any* two people (of any sex) there is going to be the issue of sex. Sex does not have to be had, but it is there. So maybe making them have sex would be counter to my purpose . . .
