Thank you a bajillion, Lynne, both for this and all the help you gave me. I really really really agree with you about that Jasmine appearance in the beginning. I felt when I wrote it that it added a lot.

I love this echo, the way you draw the parallel between Connor and the baby demon. As much as I loved the Angel/Connor interactions in this fic, it was Connor's love for the creature that completely broke me. The way you let the story unspool,

I love how you noticed that echo. The demon is supposed to of course parallel Jasmine, but I wanted to draw other parallels too, and this one was important to me. And I'm *really* glad the way the baby demon plot unfolded worked for you--the backwardness of it made me tremble in my linear boots.
