I liked Edmund best, but only because I felt he was never given a chance by the narrator. He's just plain Bad, or at least Not As Good, and I found that highly unfair. The same is probably true with the way I feel about Draco, though it took me a long time to like Draco. Took me a long time to like Mary, too, but I did feel like the narrator actually wanted us to like her.
