I'm feeling chatty today, so I thought I'd give my answers to a few of these...
General:
- Chest hair. I remember having a little bit of a discussion about this with you on my LJ re: David Duchovny. I do not have a problem with chest hair. It's better than pretty, pretty boys. That is not attractive at all to me. In fact, I applaud male actors such as DD who actually don't become slaves to waxing and preening too much. I mean, it's not like most men have shag piles on their chests anyway. A bit of hair won't hurt.
- Charisma Carpenter's hair. I don't know whether she wanted to cut it short and dye it blonde, but I personally prefer it long and dark brown. Her hair is gorgeous and indeed enviable. Back in 1999/2000 (AtS S1), I wanted my growing-out-of-horrible-concentric-mushroom-style layers hair to be like that.
Shirtless Angel holding baby Connor. It wouldn't have hurt them to fit one of those in, somewhere.
Holtz. No, sorry, I really can't see anything remotely sexy there. More creepy, cringy. But, I applaud your diversity here. Holtz is not typically eye candy material, so I'm all for equal opportunities.
Names etc
- I don't know that I see Angel using too many terms of endearment, especially very soppy ones. This is despite his penchant for Barry Manilow looove music. I think Buffy S2 Angelus used terms such as "my love"; I actually can't remember Angel using any.
- Buffy, on the other hand, is a different matter. She's more informal and just generally has a thing for shortening names and even making names up for things. I don't know that she'd name Spike "daddy", or Faith "precious", but I could see the occasional sprinklings of "hon" or other terms for her SO.
LJ etiquette
- Personal life entries. I don't avoid commenting, but I don't overpush with my comments either if I don't know the person very well. I try to get some form of happy medium if I can.
- Awkward/nervousness. Just a little, yes, although more for personal LJs than communities.
Smut
Epic stories with long sex scenes. I feel like you read my mind. Some smut scenes in such stories almost bore me to tears. And I actually skip them because I'm like, "Okay, he's done her six ways to Sunday already. How many more times can he stick it to her before I claw my own eyes out?!??"

That point is beyond gratuitous in my book.
Okay, I'm done.
Have a good weekend.
