Oh, I get to be long-winded and opinionated. Can't ask for more, really.

-Why didn’t we get to see a shirtless Angel holding baby Connor? Was that too much to ask?
Because the world hates me.
-Does anyone at all love Kennedy?
yes, doyle_sb4. She specializes in love for hated characters. Truthfully, I didn't hate Kennedy. I just thought she wasn't a good match for Willow, but then again, I can easily see Willow choosing someone that she'll never love at this point. Which is incredibly sad.
-Why did they maul Charisma Carpenter’s hair, and did anyone like it short and blonde better than long gorgeous luxurious droolable enviable need-I-go-on brunette?
A couple of reasons. First, the long hair was partly extensions and it was apparently very uncomfortable (if not painful) for Charisma. The network demanded the color change since Fred was brunette. And blonde did fit in nicely with the C/A thing. From all reports, Charisma hated the hair color. It was so unflattering to her skin tone. How they could take one of the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen and make her average at best still mystifies me.
-Do most fics consider the movie canon? Does Whedon consider it canon for the show?
I don't consider the movie cannon. I consider the original script that Joss wrote cannon. He modified it slightly and it was printed as a comic book called Origins which was quite well done and explained a lot about Buffy's attitudes. The original script wasmuch darker and it shows in the comic.
-Does anyone besides me feel guilty for not liking Doyle all that much?
I liked Doyle, I loved Cordy/Doyle but never feel guilt! I hardly ever find Marsters attractive, which might get me lynched in certain circles.
-Can Angel (the character, not David Boreanaz) dance?
Here's my take - he can slow dance because any boob can shuffle their feet. (I read a cute fic where Willow explains to him it's like having sex standing up.) He can do the period dances of his time because Darla tortured him until he could. He has no sense of rhythm though and therefore dances fast like a crazed muskrat in heat, undergoing electro-shock therapy. In other words, he dances like my b-i-l, Paul.
I don't think that being a graeful combatant necessarily transfers itself to the dance floor.
-Does James Marsters-as-William look like a young Captain-Picard-with-hair (or, more accurately: Patrick Stewart in I, Claudius) to anyone besides me?
You've gone insane. :-)
-Are there any Wesley/Virginia fics out there?
There's Angel/Synder fic. Of course there is.
-Is it wrong to think Holtz is dead sexy (especially his voice)? Am I alone in this feeling?
He's got a fantastic voice, I'll give you that. Did you know hat he does a lot of books on tape? And an incredible amount of voiceover and cartoon work? Lots of people agree with you on the voice thing.
-How come male actors don’t have chest hair any more? Do people really think it’s unsexy? Why? And the point: so does David Boreanaz wax his chest or what?
As Kita said both DB and JM wax. Ouch. In the episode "Angel" you can see that at that point, at least the poor guy didn't have to wax his pits. But check him out in "The Trial". Look ma, no underarm hair! One of the things I loved about the show Once and Again was that Billy Campbell had real live grown-up chet hair. I think hollywood tries to appeal to teen-age girls by making guys more androgynous and therefore, less sexually threatening.
