It makes perfect sense, because that's how I feel about the world in general. But in fandom? I don't just love the bad stuff because it makes the good stuff better. Irl, people being stupid, arguing, not accepting other people's opinions, etc makes me sad, uncomfortable, angry, hurt. In fandom, it makes me laugh. I actually get a kick out of it. I actively look for fan wars sometimes, in order to read over them just for entertainment. I am sick, sick.
