The Confessional, final version

I posted this fic about a month ago, unclean and unbeta'ed. Now, the goddess of my little fic world, [livejournal.com profile] germaine_pet, has helped me whip it into some shape (huzzah, whips!). She saved me from being Charles Dickens (who got paid per word), Angel from being Jane Austen and St. Augustine of Hippo and also Johnathan Edwards (who wasn't Catholic, but that's neither here nor there), and Faith from being Polyanna and also a Carebear (the one with a heart on his belly). Most of all she helped me be a better writer, for which I am eternally grateful.

So, if you missed it the first time (hint hint), or if you want to read the new and improved, here 'tis. I pasted the new version over the old version, so if you have this fic bookmarked or something, first of all: I love you for that, and secondly: your links are already updated.

Title: The Confessional
Length: It's not as long as it looks. Seriously. One or two sittings. Maybe 3 if you're a slow poke or if you, you know, have a life.
Rating: R, for language and some images
Pairings: Gen. Deals with or implies many different pairings, both slash and het.
Summary: Angel visits Faith in prison. Takes places between AtS S1 & 2.
A/N: Although this fic has a definite time frame, it can't be read as "missing scenes". Among other things, Faith's prison is too far away for Angel to visit this often in one summer. This fic is much more of a "what if", especially towards the end.

HEE! You are too funny. Thanks for the lovin', toots. I wish I had time to read this tonight, but I just finished a paper and my head's about to explode. I can't wait to see your changes. :)

Take care your head doesn't explode on your paper before you turn it in. That's happened to me before. Then there were bits of brain on my paper and my profs handed them back to me with B's at the top, and told me to "clean it up." And brain stains so badly.

Get some rest! (and I mean it, even if I do partially say it because it's 4am and I want sleep, dammit!)
