You left this comment a couple days before I left on a trip, but I had it all saved up to reply to and didn't (because I'm so goddam lazy) and then when I got back kinda forgot. Glad the flashback to the dreams worked for you. And yeah, I just loved the image of them at last able to be friends--and old crumudgeonly ladies who snarked behind their hands at everyone. I love B/F but I have a hard time believing in them being happy together unless lots of time has passed.
