1. So my mom's seen all of BtVS. But we're watching it a second time. And in S5 "Blood Ties", you know that scene where Dawn goes to Ben and tells him she's the Key, then Ben changes into Glory? TKMOM: OMG, Ben is Glory?
TKme: Yeah, Glory is in Ben's body.
TKMom: You mean Ben is in Glory's body?
TKme: Yeah, Glory is Ben.
TKMom: So. Glory and Ben.
TKme: Are the same person.
TKMom: Glory and Ben are the same person?

I KID YOU NOT.

2. So I'm writing smut, slashy porn type smut, with things I don't believe I've typed before and god, did I even know Angel was that raunchy, and all the sudden there's a knock on my door. So I open it up and hear, "Hello. Have you let Jesus Christ into your life today?" All I could think was Angel does feel very close to Jesus right now, yes he does. "Have you had a chance to study the Book of Mormon, the Testament of Jesus Christ?" I'm spending my quality time studying porn, thank you.

I've actually never had missionaries come to my house before, and would've really liked to've chatter with them and perhaps offer them tea, but I was so embarrassed I said no and shut the door. And I think they thought I was laughing at them, which made me really ashamed of myself. Then I went back to studying porn.

3. So (all stories start with so, apparently) I just watched The Gift. I forgot how Spike cries at the end. Then I went downstairs and there was this little rabbit the size of a hamster sitting on the stoop just outside the front door, munching on little green leaf planty things. And it felt very ironic to watch Buffy die and then see this bitty baby bunny live.

4. So Friday my brother calls to ask when my mom is coming to Michigan so he knows when to go up to see her, and my mother says she's going Tuesday, and I'm going with her. I'd been thinking about going again to see my brother and also just because I can, and that jazz, but this was so very sudden. But hey it's free, so I'm there. Since I'm going to be gone longer this time I'm going to be dropping by an internet cafe every couple days just to see what's up, but I'll be less available. But I'll be there if you want to get in contact with me, and I will also fly about randomly commenting. But anyway, toodles!

1. That's awesome. So it wasn't hyperbolic writing.
2. I would have done the same thing, although I would have regretted missing the chance to talk with them. I only get courage after people are gone. But I think my husband hung out with some once.

1. heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! That is one of the best conversations ever!! I'm so impressed by how well it mirrors the actual one in the show. I was also just reminiscing about the Spike/Xander scene in "Weight of the World" which Sue refers to above. You know, the one when Spike smacks Xander's ass!! *goes to a happy place*

2. Porn!! Yay! I'm excited about good porn! I write a lot of my fanfic on the subway and often kinda cower over it if I'm writing a smuttier bit (although I rarely actually succeed at writing the porn - I'm good at the lead up to and the after part). I'm now relieved that no one has tried to talk about religion while I'm writing though!!!

3. Many of my stories start with "so" as well!! *g* Awwww The Gift always makes me cry. Poor Spike and the crying. That bitty baby bunny sounds adorable and what a neat thing to see right after watching Buffy die.

4. Michigan again! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time! I'm pleased to hear you'll be checking in occasionally. *g*

Some Mormons aren't as Mormon-y as others. My mom's former bff is a Mormon, went to BYU and everything, and wow, does she have some crazy stories about Mormon parties and the ways to get around the rules.

My parents adore BtVS and AtS. They're so cute. They beg me to watch it with them, and sometimes I want to yell and say, "No! I'm too busy writing porn about them!" but I restrain myself.

And I am having fun! Except today I had to sweep a lot of bugs off our cottage and that's always pretty gross.

1. Well! I might've adjusted a little so it sounds more exactly like the show. But it did take much repetition and questioning to get across the point that yes, Glory = Ben. And yeah, that's a great moment.

2. I don't know if it's good, but I have fun writing it. Right now I'm in an internet cafe and even embarrassed to talk about it--a-and just as I typed that my mom walked by, so yeah, I know how you feel about the subway!

Yeah, this is true. The Mormon my s-i-l dated wasn't so very Mormon, until he decided to be more Mormon. That is, they broke up because she wasn't Mormon and he wanted to go do his mission thing. Or, you know, go to crazy Mormon parties.
