lol! My s-i-l is really . . . startling. She's so delicate and wee and sophisticatedly spoken, and then she'll say something while leaving like, "I shall leap from the room akin to a gazelle!" and then she'll leap. Weird! But anyway, I always wondered about ants, but it was her phrase, "sense of brotherhood" that cracked me up . . . and made me wonder. Ants are interesting creatures. There's a really good freakin' 1000 page book about them that I've heard is actually a good read, but now I can't remember what it's called.
