Is it possible to subscribe to LJs on DW if the LJ user has not created an Open ID? That is, I could just read all the journals I'm interested in just by reading my circle on DW. I thought the DW people were talking about this at one point, but from what I can see it doesn't exist.

Some DW users cross-post to LJ, but on LJ there's a line at the bottom that says, "read replies/comment on DW here" and there's a link. Do these users go in and edit every LJ entry so it says that? Or is there a way to make it pop up automatically?

To add to what others have said, soon you'll be able to automate that in both directions -- i.e., the LJ mirror will have a link to DW, and the DW post will have a link to LJ!

No worries! I've finally become disconnected enough from LJ that it doesn't feel like as big a deal to switch over to here. Most of the people who I really like have mirrors here anyway, and maybe it's not such a big deal to create feeds for the ones who haven't moved over yet.

I read another update about how they're working on timed posting--so you can set DW to post something in the future. This is really, really good for me because I get REALLY involved and then I get really uninvolved. I'll write essays and essays and not want to post them all at once so people have time to reply and stuff. You'd think I'd be able to post one, wait a week, and post the next, and just keep going, but somehow I know I won't keep up with myself and so I don't post anything.
