Does anyone think the way they wrote Giles off the show was in character or well done?
Most people think it was done very poorly, in a way that doesn't really hold up. I can see Giles moving away just because, he wasn't Buffy's father, the man had the chance of having a real life somewhere else, instead of just being Buffy's no longer useful ex Watcher, or giving him a real good reason to move away, one that would make sense and that wouldn't ruin people's image of Giles, but instead they went for the least sense making reason evah.
