I've seen parts of the mini-series, which is why I have at least some idea of who Anne is.

I was far, far into fantasy and science-fiction from a very early age. That's why I skipped a good many of the classic mainstream books that I know I should really have read.

The mini-series is better than the books, imo.

I read the "classics" when I was little. I got into fantasy in 6th grade when I read "A Wrinkle In Time". It really pulled me into the genre, but I've always kept up an interest in classic literature, though now it's adult classics instead of kid classics. Those're really the only two genres I read.
