personally assist - One of our guest professors was a freelance writer/reporter, and after her class I was her personal asst. for 6 months. It was a wonky job, like on Devil Wears Prada.

My first fandom was:
Jane Austen.
Although I fangirled things before Sense and Sensibility, Republic of Pemberley, a Jane Austen site, was one of the first sites I found online, and the first place I ever read fanfic, wrote fanfic, metatated, made online fandom friends, and squeed.

I have not written and posted fanfic for:
Star Wars. (though I have a sad, sad piece of Luke/Mara Jade I never finished and never posted anywhere.)
Sound of Music - wrote an unfinished WIP (that follows canon, so it can read as finished), which you can find by Ilandra at ff.n
Phantom of the Opera - wrote an unfinished WIP and a series of vignettes, which I took down from ff.n
Gilmore Girls - wrote an unfinished WIP, which I took down from ff.n
X-men -wrote a long, multichaptered porny Rogue/Wolverine completely CRACK, and by crack I mean crack, AU, which I posted on a list and was archived on a site, but the list is private and difficult to navigate, and the archive shut down, so that fic is lost in the ether. I've always meant to post it again on lj.
Jane Austen - pieces of Emma and S&S fic, which I posted at the Republic of Pemberley site I mentioned, and was deleted by moderators when they decided to lay down the law on having fun.
I have also written fanfic for The Godfather, Alias, and Ever After.

If I had to pick another OTP in Buffyverse besides B/A, it would be:
Angel/Spike.
Angel/Wesley - I adore this ship. I've said before they're my secret alternative OTP. But not quite as much as A/S. I don't think. I waffle.
Buffy/Faith - I like this ship. A lot. But I wouldn't go down on it.
Fred/Wesley - I don't prefer this ship.
Buffy/Spike - germaine_pet loses at my life for choosing this. I respect the canon material for this pairing and have read and enjoyed fics written about it many times. And sometimes it's really sexy. But it's so not my thing, I don't even know how to say.
This is a trick question, because your OTP isn't B/A - stoney321 and filmnoir6 lose harder for choosing this.
In the end, I lose the hardest for people not knowing my OTP is B/A. THEY ARE MY LIFE'S BLOOD. Or something. And they need my love.

Obviously, y'all missed my post about my friend imnotacommittee, who is a big Sound of Music fan, a Star Wars fan, a Firefly fan, and most of all an awesome friend. I met her and other Sound of Music fandom friends in London to see a Sound of Music sing-a-long, and the whole time was a blast. But of course most of you caught my post about meeting crazydiamondsue, who lit up my heart with her ability to quote her fanfic, and elcazavampiros, who got a clacker for me to make noise with.
stoney321, a2zmom, chrisleeoctaves, my_daroga are some people I would eat potatoes to meet, but haven't gotten to yet.

David Boreanaz's love slave - nope. No way. I can't even fantasize about this: he has a family; we have nothing in common; and he's too beautiful, all of which are important objections to me. Even in my wildest dreams, I am so not down with this. I think most of you must've been projecting. What about you, dlgood?

The show I just started watching most recently that I'm really into is:

Heroes - still waiting for it to live up to its premise.
Bones - didn't just start recently.
Studio 60 - this is the reason I don't watch tv. Shows like this. It's witty, intelligent, well written, superbly acted. But these people, they are not my people

I am currently NOT:

not stressed about finding a man because they're too much of a bother - I'm utterly sorry for this choice. The wording sucks, and I'm actually not sure of the answer. I like to think that no, I am not stressed about this. But deep down, I suspect that I really am. So sorry.
considering teaching English in Korea - yes. I really really am. Because I love to throw myself into situations in which I have to suck it up and try something different. There are a bunch of programs to Korea, Thailand, China, Vietnam, and I think some other countries, which will pay you to come to their country for one year, even if you don't know the language, to teach English. I can't find a job, and I'm always up for new things.
writing this poll because my flist is wonky and no one keeps commenting! - that's totally why I wrote this poll, but I didn't mean you all were wonky, but rather that lj seems to be screwing with the friend's list of entries--showing my things from days ago when I click "next" because more than one full page had been posted.

Pft. She is so over him. Buffy is going to stay single until she's 35, then meet a hot, funny, SMART vampire-slaying dude like Charles Gunn who helps her train potential slayers by night and prosecute criminals during the day. They'll never have children because Buffy has enough people to take care of as it is, but they'll sit on the couch and eat popcorn together and go to gangsta films and ice capades while Gunn rolls his eyes, and they'll eat cotton candy at the carnival and make love on the beach. IN THE SUNSHINE. *nods*
