B. Can Mary Sue RPF include the Mary Sue being a real person meeting a character? Like if I wrote about TKP getting whooshed into LA in time for, uh... something to happen with Angel's buttocks? C. I guess it's their right to be offended, but I honestly don't see the point. Sure, you probably shouldn't read it, but you should be flattered, eh? The way I see it, no fanfic has EVER made me not spend money on original product. Ever. In fact, I only read HP still because I want to keep up with F_W. D. Let me know. J. Because then he'd have to get it on with Spike. It was just too messy. K. I don't know. How do you feelings about the last season of each compare? Might the answer lie there? M. I'm probably almost 100% on BtVS. None on AtS. I used to know every X-Files ep title, but they are gone from my mind now. O. Don't know her. P. No. Q. I read it at work, which I feel guilty about. R. Oh hell yes. Unless it's too much editing, in which case I either stop reading or ignore it so as to enjoy the wankiness. S. Since I get so little (*sob*) I figure after a day or two I'm done. T. C&P, add header, done. U. A/N? Should I be doing that? V. See above. W. Uh... gah... I don't know. Maybe because it's like a "non-con" situation that's not quite so dire; you can "give in" to the bodice-rippery in a relatively safe spot. I imagine it's also akin to the "I hate you because I love you," Anne/Gilbert Lizzy/Darcy scenario or the "Spike and Buffy get locked in a closet! snark leads to sex! everyone feels somewhat guilty!" Ooh, maybe the guilt; maybe there's shame in falling in love with someone you've been forced to be with.
