OLD!FIC: Movieverse X-men fandom (Wolverine/Rogue)

On some levels this fic is total AU crack, dark!fic, h/c, purple prose, shipper!psychosis you might read with some shame. On other levels there's the male protagonist who will never be a good guy, who has a darkness and violence in him he can never dispell completely--who hates himself for it, guilts over it, and doesn't even exactly know how to be good enough to even dream of redemption. And the strong, albeit innocent (somewhat) female who seekens to lighten his darkness with her brilliance, despite demons of her own. Because she's the kind that will stand on the hill and ask him, "what about me?" right before it begins to snow. Aww! *wipes tears* I do like this story, even if it is a bit repetitive and heavy handed at times. And crack.

Does anyone know anything about X-Men fandom or Wolverine/Rogue fandom on livejournal? The archive to which this was posted is defunct. I would like to post this to a comm or something, if only for posterity's sake.

ahhh. I was going to suggest the wolverine and rogue website, but i see that's already been done.

devildoll has tons of links to x-men related comms and websites, as does lady_t_220 although she is mainly a logan/jean shipper.

That was my first fandom online and the first place that I ever posted fanfic. Such a warm, wonderful, nice group of people to know.

W/R Movieverse Xmen was my second online fandom....I remember devildoll and the wolverine and rogue website, but. I...was on the *other* Yahoo! list for the *other* archive, the one that no one talks about now. There was lots of unpleasant history there, I guess? I ended up backing away slowly.

I'm glad you had good experiences! Thanks so much for the names.
