I'm with orexisbella at this point. I can see what you mean, but I'm going to give it time. Maybe part of the plan is to take these seemingly incongruous pieces and find a way to connect them in a believable way.

I also don't really need a show to have everything right to enjoy it. I'm one of those people that likes what I like. If I like it, I can enjoy it despite some of it's failings. I mean, I have my limits. Seasons 2 and 3 of Dark Angel, anyone?

Right now I'm just waiting to see.
